Privacy Policy

Sezen Bakery is a small family bakery. We collect only what we need to take your order and bring it to you, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
What we collect
When you send an order request, we receive what you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), delivery address, the delivery date you would like, the tray size and number of trays, and any notes you add. If you call or email us instead, we keep the same details from that conversation.
Like any website, ours also receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type. We use it only to keep the site working and to stop abuse of the order form.
How we use it
We use your details to confirm your order with you, bake it, deliver it, arrange payment, and answer your questions. We do not send marketing email and we do not build advertising profiles.
Who else sees it
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. It is seen by our family, who run the bakery, and it passes through the service providers that make the site and our email work: Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website, and Microsoft, which provides our email. They handle it on our behalf and under their own privacy terms. We would share information beyond that only if the law required it.
Cookies and tracking
Our site does not use advertising or analytics trackers and does not set cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set a cookie that is strictly needed for security. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not let other parties collect information about your activity over time on our site. Because of that, our site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
Where it is kept and for how long
Order requests are stored on a computer the bakery controls, with backup copies that we also keep ourselves. We keep order records for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep the business records the law expects of us. Backup copies are replaced on a rolling basis and are gone within about a year.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Email jenny@sezenbakery.com or call (925) 786-8225, and we will take care of it, unless we are required to keep a record.
Children
Our site is meant for adults placing orders. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
