From Istanbul, through generations

Our story begins in a Turkish grandmother's summer kitchen

A family recipe learned by hand, remembered by feel, and now baked in California for new tables.

The kind of recipe you learn beside someone

A childhood summer spent in Turkey making baklava with her Turkish grandmother created a lifelong tradition of sharing this delicious traditional sweet for every family holiday.

It was not written on a card. It was learned in gestures: how the phyllo should feel, how finely to prepare the walnuts, and when the honey has found every layer.

That recipe never left our family, and it's what we made for every holiday and any reason to gather around the table.

Sezen Bakery is our way of sharing our fourth-generation, soul-infused creation for you to enjoy, one tray, one piece, one sweet moment at a time.

“Made by hand, in small batches, with love.”
